"Behind The Scenes" is an occasional feature in the BluesNotes that brings a bit of the spotlight to those individuals who support the art form, but don't themselves perform. While we all love the artists, and appreciate all the work and dedication it takes be any good at playing the Blues, we often forget it also takes a lot of work behind the scenes to create an environment in which the artists can perform. These articles highlight various people working to support the Blues genre in ways that garner little attention, but nonetheless are important in helping the Blues to flourish.
