Journey to Memphis Finals Set Sail on the Waterfront Blues Festival Cruisin’ To Memphis aboard the Portland Spirit!

Get ready to set sail for an afternoon of soul-stirring music, fierce competition, and non-stop blues! Cruisin’ to Memphis is more than just a boat ride—it’s a floating blues festival, a celebration of the Pacific Northwest’s finest talent, and your front-row ticket to fun!

We’re showcasing the best of the best—from seasoned pros to rising stars—featuring artists who’ve made waves at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) and this year’s bold new contenders in our Journey to Memphis (J2M) competition.

On the first-floor stage:
Kick things off with the Kivett Bednar Band, then watch the sparks fly as Kit’s Bag o’ Cats and the Nikki Jones Band battle it out live in the J2M Band Finals. Only one act will earn the honor of representing Portland on Beale Street in January 2026—come cheer them on!

On the top deck:
It’s all about those who can pull you without the back up of a band, solo performers Lilla and Juliet Sings will go note-for-note in the Solo/Duo J2M Finals, followed by a fun and soul-filled set from the one and only Jason “JT” Thomas.

On the main stage:
Prepare to be blown away by a never been seen together lineup of former IBC challengers, including Jonn Del Toro Richardson, the J2M Allstars featuring Timmer Blakely, Dave Fleschner, and Dave Melyan, with special guests Ty Curtis, Rae Gordon, Brady Goss, Chad Rupp, and Fenix. This is a supergroup situation—don’t blink or you’ll miss something legendary.
