- Membership updates via email
- Free blues entertainment at Member Showcase meetings which are held the first Wednesday of each month at Mekong Grill in Portland. These meetings are free and open to under-21 audiences from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. They feature a mix of new and familiar blues musicians, local and visiting artists from around the world. We also give away fun prizes, like CDs (donated by longtime CBA partner Music Millennium) and tickets for upcoming blues events

- A chance to participate in our Journey to Memphis Competitions – we help support each year’s winner as they prepare to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis!

Help Us Keep the Blues Alive — One Volunteer at a Time
The Cascade Blues Association is 100% volunteer-powered. Give a few hours a month, or just ten minutes. There’s a place for you.
- Love a good party? Volunteer for the Holiday Party, Member Appreciation Picnic, Muddy Awards, or Journey to Memphis fundraising events.
Prefer to help from home?
- Write. Draft stories for the website or Blues Notes
- Design. Canva whiz? Make graphics for events, posts, and newsletters.
- Ask. Land auction items, find sponsors, or help write grants.
- Pitch. Got an idea we haven’t thought of? Bring it.

Online Memberships via PayPal
Choose the type of membership you want to purchase and click the corresponding button. Single (Individual), Family(Two Individuals) and Band(Three members – additional member can be added at a deep discount) have fixed payment amounts; while each of the four Supporting Membership levels has a dollar range — you specify the amount you want to donate within that range for your Supporting Membership.
