This month’s Cascade Blues Association Showcase brings the heat with two acts guaranteed to move your soul and your soles. Tevis Hodge Jr. kicks off the night with a rich blend of traditional blues styles—from Delta to Piedmont—infused with jazz, folk, and old-timey charm. A lifelong student of Black American music, Tevis delivers every note with reverence and originality. Closing out the evening, Dave Keller and the Groovzalot Blues Band bring their signature blend of booty-shakin’ blues, spicy Cajun grooves, and rock-inflected soul. Whether you’re in it for the deep roots or the dance floor, this showcase has something for every blues lover.
