The 8th Annual Peninsula Blues Festival: A Beloved Northwest Tradition
August 15–16, 2025
Port of Peninsula • Nahcotta, WA • Overlooking Willapa Bay
Fondly known as “the little festival at the end of the world,” the Peninsula Blues Festival returns this summer for its 8th year, bringing soulful soundwaves to the edge of the Pacific Northwest. Set against the serene backdrop of Willapa Bay, this two-day celebration of blues music takes place on the scenic grounds of the Port of Peninsula in Nahcotta, Washington.
The festival holds a special place in the hearts of many in our blues family. CBA member Clint Carter (1955–2025) founded the event and poured his passion into creating a space where blues could thrive by the sea. His legacy lives on through the incredible efforts of Marti Lindhorst, the Event & Volunteer Coordinator, who is keeping the flame alive with this year’s lineup and festivities.
The Peninsula Blues Festival draws many Cascade Blues Association members— both in the audience and on stage. You’re guaranteed to see some old friends and will surely make new ones, all who share your same enthusiasm for blues music, while some of the region’s finest artists light up the stage.
This year, the festival is also inviting people to participate in the R&B Food Drive. Guests who are able are encouraged to bring two or three non-perishable food items to help fill the donation barrels at the admissions gate. All donations will benefit the three local food pantries that serve the surrounding communities
Whether it’s your first time or a yearly tradition, this intimate gathering is a reminder of what we love most about blues: community, connection, and music that hits you right in the heart.
