The Cascade Blues Association’s Monthly Showcase takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at Mekong Bistro, bringing the community together to celebrate live blues in all its forms. These evenings highlight exceptional regional and visiting talent, offering a chance to connect with the music and the musicians – all while supporting the artists who keep our blues community thriving.
The March Showcase will feature two great acts!
Jody Carroll is a Blues & Roots performer and songwriter whose bold interpretations of traditional blues come alive through original songs, storytelling, and improvisational musical journeys that feel both timeless and personal.
Rafael Tranquilino, Seattle-based frontman and guitarist of The Rafael Tranquilino Band, delivers a fresh, high-energy fusion of rock, blues, and funk, blending soulful grit with an alternative edge.
