Shape the Future of the Cascade Blues Association!

The Cascade Blues Association is now accepting nominations for 2027 Board Officers.

Active CBA members can step up for one of five officer positions: President, Vice President, General Secretary, Membership Director, or Treasurer.
Voting is open to current members only. Nominations are open from October 19th through November 19, 2026.

• Email boardnominations@cascadeblues.org (or contact General Secretary Betsy Clayton) to ask questions or submit your nomination.
• The CBA will announce officer candidates shortly before elections open December 1, 2026.

Officer Updates

• Mike Day is stepping down as Treasurer at the end of this year and will work with his successor to ensure a smooth transition.
• Membership Director Evelyn Silverman is no longer on the CBA board. Officers will cover her responsibilities through the end of the year.

Both Mike and Evelyn remain part of the Cascade Blues Association community. We thank them for everything they’ve done to preserve and promote the blues.

About the CBA Board

The board is a collaborative, transparent team that respects every voice. We decide together, back the majority, and keep members in the loop. We keep the Association healthy, help it grow, and ensure we benefit all members.

• Officers serve one-year terms starting January 1.
• The roles are unpaid.
• All board members agree to the Cascade Blues Association Code of Ethics.
