BLUES IN THE SCHOOLS

Shout out to CBA member, Mercedez Cruz, for her dedication to Blues In The Schools! She’s created a course of action so that musicians will be paid when they participate, after-school teachers can receive a stipend, and most importantly, youth will learn about the blues.  When you see Mercedez, please thank her for spearheading this program.

As BITS continues to grow, we’d love to invite you to volunteer. There are many ways you can participate including outreach to schools, coordinating musicians, sound support, partnership development, and of course, performance opportunities.
